Meet The Team

Madeleine is a Professor, cognitive scientist, leader of the Cognition Group, and currently Head of the School of Psychological Sciences and Health at the University of Strathclyde. She is the Co-Investigator on the Designapse project, providing leadership and expertise in the areas of cognitive psychology and cognitive neuroscience.

Laura is a Lecturer in Product Design in the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management at the University of Strathclyde. Her current research interests include design cognition, creativity, design evaluation, design theory and ontology, and sustainable design. She is the Project Manager for the Designapse project, providing expertise in the area of engineering design.

Tijana is a Research Assistant in the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management at the University of Strathclyde. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master’s in Global Innovation Management, and is currently studying for a PhD in the area of gesture-based computer aided engineering design.

Chris is a research student in the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management at the University of Strathclyde. He holds a Master’s degree in Product Design Engineering, and is currently studying for a PhD in the area of cognitive-based engineering design.

Gerard is a research student working in the Department of Design, Manufacturing and Engineering Management and with the School of Psychological Sciences and Health at the University of Strathclyde. He holds a Bachelor’s degree with honours in Psychology, and is currently studying for a PhD on the cognitive and neural basis of design creativity.
